- Originally scheduled for June 7, 1994 at Brighton's Pavilion Theatre the concert was postponed and moved to the larger Brighton Centre's East Wing, also known as the Syndicate Wing.
- A contemporary review described the venue as a plain, rectangular room with a stage at one end and a bar at the other, which closed at 11 PM just as Oasis came on stage. Despite the poor sound system, the reviewer praised the band's performance and the enthusiastic young crowd. The set ended with 'I am the Walrus', during which Noel reportedly left the stage before the song had finished.
- Just six months later, on December 29, 1994, Oasis returned to the Brighton Centre to perform in its main auditorium before a sold-out crowd of approximately 4,500.
