This site contains concert and session dates, setlists, venue information, statistics and additional notes collected from throughout the band's history.
Whether you've noticed it as a visitor or simply know it as an Oasis fan: counting Oasis shows is a bit tricky, especially the early years. A quick overview:
Every concert and Radio/TV session in the database counts as a show. Concerts and sessions are treated equally: if Oasis played at least one song, it's part of the chronology. Pure interviews or documentaries are deliberately not included at all.
The total number of shows in the Overall Statistics also includes four early shows from 1990 and 1991, when the band was still known as The Rain. These four shows are not included in the Show History, which counts from August 9, 1991 onwards. This explains why the Show History count may be lower than the total number of shows.
Well, it's actually quite simple: no setlist means no songs. We may know that a show took place because the date is confirmed, but for some early concerts no setlist has surfaced to this day. Guessing or assuming which songs were played would therefore distort the statistics.
As a result, the number of times a song has been played may appear lower than the total number of shows might suggest.
Entries that aren't songs performed by Oasis - such as intro tapes, interviews or performances by other artists - remain in the setlists but are excluded from the main song statistics.
Only concerts are counted here. A TV session with a single song would otherwise make that song both opener and closer.
Counting for the Band Member Cards starts on January 14, 1992, commonly cited as Noel Gallagher's first gig with Oasis. Earlier entries from 1990 and 1991 are therefore intentionally excluded from these statistics. Radio/TV sessions are not included either.
As a result, the statistics begin on January 14, 1992 with Played: 1 / Overall: 100%.
