Show Notes
- The Wedgewood Rooms is housed in a building that has served a variety of purposes over the years, including use as a wartime storage space, ballroom, jazz club and community function room. In 1968, Arnold Schwarzenegger even competed there in a bodybuilding contest. The venue began operating as the Wedgewood Rooms in 1992 and quickly became an important independent live music and comedy venue. Oasis played here on 2 May 1994 with tickets priced at £5 in advance and doors opening at 7pm. Over the years the venue has also hosted artists including Pulp, Jeff Buckley, Muse, The Strokes and Biffy Clyro.
