Show Notes
- The New Adelphi Club is housed in a former terraced house built in 1888 at 89 De Grey Street. After serving a variety of uses over the decades, the building became The Adelphi Club in the late 1970s and later The New Adelphi Club. Since 1 October 1984 it has operated primarily as a live music venue, with a concert room holding around 220 people. Oasis were originally booked to play on 10 April 1994, but the show was postponed because the band had to make a television appearance. They eventually played the venue on 29 April 1994 by which time 'Supersonic' had been released and interest in the band had grown considerably. Tickets for the rescheduled show cost £4.
- Someone in the audience later recalled seeing Liam sitting alone near the toilets before the show and telling him that he liked 'Supersonic', to which Liam simply replied 'Cheers, mate.' — The New Adelphi Club history
