The concert took place at the Marquee Club's Charing Cross Road location, which had opened in 1988 after the closure of the original Wardour Street venue. The building now houses The Montagu Pyke pub.
An audience member later recalled seeing Richey Edwards of the Manic Street Preachers in the crowd and described the performance as a short but energetic set.
